Textaizer

You have probably noticed numerous shapes that are made out of text. Usually, you can find them in Readme text files. Some of them are created character by character, which may take some time. With Textaizer, you may create something better. The application is capable of turning any image into a text mosaic. It includes a very large number of options, which allow you to create all sorts of mosaics, with different text settings.

Textaizer is freeware, so you can use it for as long as you want, without any fees. The installation package is small and the setup wizard will guide you through a simple and straightforward procedure. The system requirements are not high, but modern hardware will help you work faster.

The application lets you create a text mosaic right away. You just need to load a picture and click a button to generate the mosaic. For better results, you must use the available options from the right side of the interface to make a series of adjustments. It is possible to set a different font size, a size multiplier, distance between lines and much more. You may use your own text, if you want to, choose random characters or apply circular text.

Textaizer provides many more options, which are organized on separate tabs. Besides text, you can also use ASCII or Word characters to create mosaics. You can also transform text into a mosaic, using your own text or not. In addition, the program lets you set the characters to bold or italic, change its size and more. It is also possible to open the mosaic with your default web browser or a notepad.

Another unique feature is the possibility of transforming videos into a mosaic. Once you load a video, you may select a codec, choose between text mosaic or ASCII art, set a frame, target a specific segment of the video and more. It may take some time to convert a picture into a mosaic, especially if you opt for smaller characters and other settings or if you transform a large portion of a video. The good news is that Textaizer will provide you with high quality results. You can save your mosaics as images, in JPG or BMP format, as plain text or HTML files or as metadata.
